How to Be a Social Entrepreneur

Tom is the ultimate aggregator. He collects (even more: he remembers) every quote or phrase from hundreds of books and years of reading. A few years back he created this poster (inspired by the works Sami Sunchild) that aggregates many thoughts about How To Be A Social Entrepreneur.

I love this. In fact, it is coming timely. I am going to share with my entire staff today at a staff meeting. When most people ask me what I do it is really hard to communicate – or it used to be. Now that I have been working with Suddes Group, I can clearly communicate what and why I do what I do. This poster helps to explain more of the why and what lead me to my work. It isn’t just a job. It is my life. It is a part of my DNA. I also know that I have had to “get over” the fact that when raising money for my organization, and my dream, that I am also raising funds and helping to connect people to invest in transforming our community. The bottom line is that we only have this one life… and we have one chance to do it right. To make every moment count; to impact as many people as we can in a positive way.
